Wolford College received its license as a Nurse Anesthesia school from the Florida Department of Education and Commission for Independent education in 2003. It has been accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) since early 2004. The first group of Nurse Anesthesia students graduated from Woldford in 2005. In 2007, the college became eligible to disburse Title IV funds to is its students. In other words, Wolford College student can now receive federally sponsored student financial aid to assist them on their quest to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Wolford College offers a 28 month program that enables its students to earn a master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia. The program covers the entire scope of nurse anesthesia practice. To ensure the best possible clinical experiences for its students, and to enable its students to pass the National Certification examination, Wolford maintains clinical and enrichments sites throughout Florida and Georgia. Under the supervision of licensed CRNSs and Anesthesiologists, Wolford students have the opportunity to explore and participate in all aspects of administering anesthesia.
