Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, locally referred to as just “WITC”, is an accredited 2-year technical college that offers a variety of degree, certificate and diploma programs for aspiring students and professionals. WITC has four campuses that are located in New Richmond, Ashland, Superior and Rice Lake, Wisconsin. It also has two outreach centers–one in Ladysmith and the other in Hayward–and a learning center located in Spooner. The college’s headquarters are located in Shell Lake, Wisconsin.

WITC offers associate degrees, professional certificates and diploma programs designed to help students acquire technical skills and knowledge that will help them qualify for new career opportunities. In total, WITC offers over 50 career-focused degrees and programs.

WITC is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Assocation of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Wisconsin Technical College System.

Interview required

Required ASSET scores: 44 for nursing program, 39 for other associate degree programs, 36 for technical diplomas. SAT or ACT can be used in lieu of ASSET assessment.
