Wiley College, located on the west side of Marshall, Texas, USA, is a private, four-year college. It is historically African American and focuses on liberal arts. It was founded by the Methodist Episcopal Church’s Bishop, Isaac Wiley, in 1873. It was certified by the Freedman’s Aid Society in 1882 and is notably one of the oldest colleges west of the Mississippi River that is predominantly African American.
