Washington County Community College (WCCC) is located in Calais, Maine in Washington County. Overlooking the St. Croix River, Valley, the WCCC campus sits on a hillside at the edge of 400-acres expansive fields and wooded areas.

WCCC was sstablished in 1969 and is one of seven colleges that make up the Maine Community College System. WCCC programs include Associate of Science (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.) and Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees. WCCC is offers courses in business/job training, personal enrichment classes, community services, and classes for high school students.

WCCC offers several associate degree programs which allow for credit to be transfered to a four-year university upon graduation. For example, WCCC students can complete a two-year liberal arts degree and then transfer to a four-year university where their associates degree will count towards completion of the first two years of their bachelor’s degree.
