The University of West Los Angeles (UWLA School of Law) is CBE-accredited, non-profit, private law school for full and part time law students in Los Angeles and Southern California. UWLA School of Law has two campuses in Los Angeles area – one in Inglewood (West Los Angeles) and another in Chatsworth (San Fernando Valley).
In 2002, the San Fernando Valley College of Law was acquired and merged into the UWLA School of Law. Many lawyers and judges who practice law in the San Fernando Valley graduated from the San Fernanco Valley College of Law.
In 1978, UWLA School of Law received full accreditation from the Committee of Bar Examiners of The State Bar of California. However, the school is not approved by the American Bar Association.
