School Overview
The University of California San Francisco (locally known as UCSF) was founded in 1873 in San Francisco, California – where it still resides. The University is a renown center for health sciences education, research, and patient care. Of the 10 campuses that make up the University of California system, it is the only school to offer graduate education, and in bio-medical and health sciences.
