Trinidad State Junior College is a two-year community college with campuses in Trinidad and Alamosa, Colorado. Founded in 1949, Trinidad now enrolls more than 1,800 students every year.

Trinidad students can choose from nearly fifty academic and vocational fields of study. In addition to traditional arts and sciences programs, the school offers an eclectic mix of programs, including nursing, aquaculture, welding, cosmetology and gunsmithing. The gunsmithing program is one of the top three in the nation.

Trinidad’s sports mascot is the Trojan. The Trinidad Trojans compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Women’s sports include soccer, basketball, softball, volleyball and golf. Men can participate in basketball, baseball, golf and soccer.
