School Overview
California State University Stanislaus, sometimes referred to as Cal State Stanislaus or even Stan State is one of twenty three campuses in the California State University System (CSU). CSU Stanislaus was founded in 1957 and is located in Turlock, California. Out of the 23 campuses in the CSU system it is the only campus to offer a bachelor’s degree program in cognitive studies. The university was recently ranked by U.S. News & World Report magazine as one of the top 10 public universities in the new West Coast Master’s category and for the last seven years has been rated a “best buy” in higher education. The Princeton review has listed CSU Stanislaus among the best undergraduate colleges in the nation.
