St. Petersburg College (SPC) is four-year co-educational higher education institution that is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The college is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and has a total annual enrollment of 65,000 students, making it one of the largest higher education institutions in the nation. In addition to its main campus in St. Petersburg, the college maintains nine other campuses throughout Florida.

St. Petersburg College started out in 1927 as a two-year community college (Florida’s first) and in 2001 was converted into a four-year college when it started offering bachelor degrees. Today the college offers bachelor’s degree programs in several fields of study including nursing, technology management, education, international business, veterinary technology, orthotics and prosthetics, dental hygiene, public safety administration, and paralegal studies.
