Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, locally referred to as just Southern, is a two-year, nationally accredited community college located in the city of Mount Gay, in the south western region of the state of Virginia. It was founded as a branch campus of Marshal College in 1960 and became a stand-alone community college in 1970 and renamed.

Southern offers 2-year career-oriented associates degrees and transfer degrees in various fields of study.
