School Overview
Southeastern University was a privately owned and operated university that focused on undergraduate education. The institution was established by an Act of Congress in 1879. In August of 2009, the Southeastern lost its accreditation through through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education as it was unable to satisfy all accreditation requirements. The school stopped enrolling students later that year and in early 2010 it merged with Graduate School USA, and independent graduate school in the D.C. area. Graduate School USA now maintains all student records for the defunct Southeastern University and previous students can request transcripts from Graduate School USA.
