The college is located in the beautiful Moraga Hills in Moraga, California about 11 miles east of San Francisco . The college is governed by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, a Roman Catholic denomination.

Saint Mary’s Colleges offers an exceptional business program, nursing program and several renowned Great Books and Seminar programs. The college recently partnered with Samuel Merritt University, located in Oakland, California. The college also has a well developed athletics program and plays in NCAA Division 1.
