aid. You may not qualify for federal aid, but it is still a good idea
to fill out this application as it may be used at the university to
help you get some other scholarship that is also need-based.
Rutgers University encourages students to look into external sources of
scholarships as well as applying for federal aid and for merit
scholarships provided through Rutgers. Some of the scholarships/awards
available at the university include the following: Presidential
Scholarship, James Dickson Carr Scholarship, Scarlet Scholarship,
Rutgers International Award, National Merit
Scholarships/college-sponsored Merit Awards, September 11 Memorial

The Scarlet Knights are a part of the NCAA. Today’s football and sports
are a far cry from what it looked like at the first intercollegiate
football game in 1869. The game between Rutgers and Princeton was only
the beginning of a tradition that is still something about which the
students at Rutgers University can be proud.
