Rowan-Cabarrus Community College (RCCC) is a relatively large community college located in both the Rowan and Cabarrus Counties of North Carolina. It belongs to the state-supported North Carolina Community College System along with 57 other colleges.

RCCC offers students the opportunty to earn an accredited associate degrees in more than 40 disciplines and areas of study, including health and public services, business, arts and sciences, information technology, biotechnology, and engineering technologies. RCCC also allows students to earn accredited diplomas and certificates. These programs are designed to help students develop basic employement skills, complete continuing education, and acquire career training. Students who plan on attending a four-year college or university upon completion of their associates degree can apply credits earned toward their bachelor’s degree.

RCCC offers more than 2,000 courses and has average annual enrollment of roughly 22,000 students. The college offers evening, day, and on-line courses for adults through the Internet.
