Rocky Mountain College, locally referred to as “RMC”, is a private college that offers over 25 liberal arts and career oriented majors. The college is located in Billings, Montana, and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA), and the United Church of Christ. It has an average annual enrollment of roughly 900 students.
The U.S. News & World Report ranks RMC as one of the top 10 colleges in quality and a “best value” among comprehensive colleges in the Western United States. The college also boasts an amazing 99% placement rate students pursuing graduate school.
RMC is regionally accredited through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and the Office of Public Instruction for the State of Montana for the preparation of elementary and secondary teachers. The Physician Assistant ARC-PA program at RMC is also accredited through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities as well as the Office of Public Instruction for the State of Montana for the preparation of elementary and secondary teachers. In addition, the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) provides accreditation to the Aeronautical Sciences and Aviation Management programs at Rocky Mountain College.
Rocky Mountain athletic teams, nicknamed the Battlin’ Bears, compete primarily in the Frontier Conference, and are a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I level. Sports programs offered at RMC include basketball, cross country, football, golf, ski racing, soccer and track & field for men and basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, ski racing, soccer, track & field and volleyball are available for women.
