The Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery provides job training for people interested in the guitar building industry. The school has developed a reputation for providing excellent training since its inception 40 years ago. In fact, people from all over the world travel to the Phoenix campus to complete training at the school.

It takes 5 months to complete the program. Students learn various skills, including guitar making and repair, pickup winding, metallic finishing, and advanced guitar electronics.

Students come from various backgrounds. Professional musicians and those interested in developing custom-made guitars and specializing in guitar repair enroll at this school.

To be admitted, prospective students are required to provide proof of holding a high school degree or GED.
