Established in 1900, Rasmussen College is one of the oldest for-profit private colleges in the United States. Rasmussen offers undergraduate degrees nationwide through its 22 campuses and via the Internet through its online division. Rasmussen College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to award Associate of Science (A.S.), Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees. Through a partnership with Benedictine University, Rasmussen also offers several master’s degree programs. The college offers degrees in more than 80 fields of study and disciplines including Business, Justice Studies, Health Sciences, Nursing, Education, Design and Technology.

Rasmussen College’s Ocala campus is the location of the Ocala School of Nursing that offers. associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing for aspiring nursing students and RNs. Nursing programs are available both on-campus and online.
