This educational program focuses on the scientific study of grasslands, rangelands, arid regions, and other areas of low productivity, as well as the principles of managing such resources for maximum benefit and environmental balance. This program typically includes in depth instruction in livestock management, plant sciences, wildlife biology, soil science, ecology, and hydrology.
