Pueblo Community College is located in Pueblo, Colorado. Also known as PCC, it is a two-year school that operates four campuses in the Pueblo area. The school enrolls a little under 7,000 students every year.

PCC’s roots extend back to 1933 and the establishment of Southern Colorado Junior College. Over the decades, the institution went through several different names and incarnations. In the 1960s and 70s, it was a branch of Southern Colorado State College, and in 1979 it became the independent Pueblo Vocational Community College. The school adopted its current name in 1982.

Pueblo Community College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

Admissions Policies/Requirements

Admission to health programs based on GPA, high school courses, and test scores. ACT required of dental hygiene applicants; score report by May 1. Assessment testing required for all entering degree- and certificate-seeking students, unless ACT/SAT scores or transcripts showing successful completion of college-level English and math courses are provided.
