Psychobiology (A.K.A. behavioral neuroscience) is a branch of psychology where researchers attempt to better understand the link between the brain and behavior. Specifically, psychobiologists are concerned with how the biology of the brain affects mental health, what biological processes affect behavior, and how brain biology affects motor functions, such as speaking.
This field is similar to neuroscience. Undergraduate students majoring in psychobiology complete extensive study in computer science, math, psychology, chemistry, biology, and other scientific disciplines.
