Post University is a for-profit university based in Waterbury, Connecticut. It was founded as Post College in 1890 and changed its name to Post University in May of 1990 to reflect its new status as a university. In addition to its main campus in Waterbury, Post has satellite learning centers in Danbury, Norwalk, and Meriden. The university offers campus-based day and evening courses as well as an extensive online degree program selection. Post University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in fields of study including business, finance, education, legal studies, and human services.
