This educational program focuses on the application of scientific principles to the control of insect, animal, and weed infestation of domesticated plant populations and other settings, including the prevention/reduction of attendant economic loss; agricultural crops; and the control of environmental pollution and degradation related to pest infestation and pest control measures. This program typically includes in depth instruction in entomology, plant pathology and physiology, applicable animal sciences, crop science, weed science, and environmental toxicology.
