Palomar College is a community college with locations throughout San Diego County, California, including the main campus in San Marcos. Palomar is a two-year college providing over 250 Associate’s degrees and certification programs. The school also offers credit transfer programs for students who want to pursue four-year degrees in institutions such as UCSD, San Diego State, UCLA and USC.

In addition to the main campus in San Marcos, Palomar includes six education centers around the San Diego area. The largest is in the beachside community of Escondido, with others at Mt. Carmel High School, Ramona High School, Pauma Indian Reservation, Fallbrook High School and Camp Pendleton, the marine base near Oceanside, California.
