This program is designed to prepare students to assist patients limited by physical, psychosocial, cognitive, developmental, mental, and learning disabilities, as well as adverse environmental conditions, to maximize their independence and maintain optimum health through a planned mix of acquired skills, environmental adaptations, assistive technologies, performance motivation, and physical agents.
