Northcentral University (NCU), established in 1996 and located in Prescott Valley, Arizona, is an accredited, private, for-profit university that offers a large selection of distance education options for aspiring adult students and professionals. The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education has classified it as a Doctoral Research University. NCU utilizes a One-to-One Teaching Model—one student paired with a member of NCU’s 100% doctoral faculty in each course— to create a more personalized education experience for adult students who share a passion for excellence in higher education.

NCU is divided into four schools: (1) the School of Education, which offers the degrees MEd, BEd completion, PhD, EdD, EdS, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate and Post-Master’s Certificate in Education; (2) the School of Business and Technology Management, which offers the degrees DBA, MBA, BBA, PhD, and Post Baccalaureate and Post-Master’s Certificate in Business Administration; (3) the School of Psychology, which offers BA, MA in Psychology, PhD degrees, Post-Baccalaureate and Post Master’s Certificate in Psychology; and 4) the School of Marriage and Family Sciences which offers the degrees MA in MFT, PhD, Post-Baccalaureate and Post Master’s in Marriage and Family Sciences.
