New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), located in New York City, is a private research university. NYIT has a located in Old Westbury Long Island and another in Manhattan. In addition to its U.S. campuses, NYIT also offers programs in Bahrain, China, Jordan, Canada and United Arab Emirates. NYIT is composed of five academic schools and two colleges that together offer over 90 undergraduate, graduate and medical degrees. While curriculum varies by department, all programs emphasize technology and applied scientific research.
