Founded in 1971, National University (NU), is an independent, non-profit private university whose main campus is located in La Jolla, California. However NU has campus locations throughout the state of California as well as one in Henderson, Nevada. National University is composed of 5 academic schools and one college which include the School of Business and Management, the School of Health and Human Services, the School of Engineering, Technology and Media, the School of Education, the College of Letters and Sciences, and the School of Professional Studies. National University offers a variety of online academic learning programs and degrees supported by real-time lectures and forums, streaming video, a variety of multimedia learning tools, and interactive chat rooms for students. Educational programs at National University are designed for adults with five or more years of work experience. In addition to convenient and flexible online degree programs, students can also take advantage of on-campus classes that are offered during the evenings and on weekends.
