Massachusetts Bay Community College (locally referred to as MassBay) is an accredited two-year community college located in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, in Middlesex County. In addition to its main campus in Wellesley, MassBay has branch campuses in Ashland and Framingham. In addition to a comprehensive educational offering, MassBay is well-known for being the home of the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra, an amateur orchestra directed by Max Hobert. The college was founded in 1961.

MassBay offers two-year associate degrees and 1 to 2-year certificates in various academic fields and career-focused disciplines, including the arts, biology, business, communications, computer science, engineering technology, legal studies, family and human services, health professions, nursing, law enforcement, social services and liberal arts.

Graduation ceremony for all three campuses is held each year at the Wellesley campus. The ceremony is usually accompanied by the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra. Special recognition ceremonies are held for honors students.

MassBay’s athletic programs include men’s and women’s sports, including soccor, basketball, golf and baseball.
