Marian University, previously known as the Marian College of Fond du Lac, is a private undergraduate liberal arts college that is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Church. The university is supported by the Congregation of Sisters of Saint Agnes (a Roman Catholic instituted for women who founded the institution in 1936.)
Marian is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to award Bachelor of Art (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) and Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) Marian also offers several graduate degrees, including the Master of Science (M.S.), Master of Arts in Education (M.A.E.), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and a few different Ph.D. programs.
