This program is designed to prepare students to apply managerial principles to the administration of nursing homes, home health services, adult day care, assisted living facilities, and other long term care settings and agencies serving the elderly and disabled. This program frequently includes in depth instruction in social and clinical aspects of aging, nursing home administration, health care delivery systems, assisted living administration, ethics, aging policy and government programs, marketing, business management, human resource management, financial management, and applicable laws and regulations.
