Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) is a Texas A&M University System school located in Laredo, Texas. It is the newest university in Texas and has a $160 million cutting-edge campus that resides on 300 acres. TAMIU is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award doctoral, masters, and bachelor’s degrees. TAMIU offers over 70 degrees through five colleges which include:
- College of Arts and Sciences
- A. R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business
- College of Education
- College of Nursing and Health Sciences
In addition to offering degrees in business administration, nursing, and the arts and sciences, TAMIU also offers international business doctoral degrees through the Sanchez School of Business. The A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business was ranked in the TOP Ten for opportunities for minority students as well as being named the “Best 296 Business Schools” by the Princeton Review.
