School Overview
Johnson University Florida (JUFL) is a four-year private college that was was established in 1976 as the Central Florida Bible College. It changed its name to Florida Christian College in late 1985. In 2013, Florida Christian College merged with Johnson University to become Johnson University Florida. The college is associated with the Independent Christian Church but is not directly affiliated with any particular denomination. The college offers Christian focused education designed to prepare students for careers in Christian ministry, missionary work and elementary education. JUFL offers Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree programs.
The university also offers Master’s and Doctorate programs through their online systems. The cost of tuition for a full-time student is $13,200. Students are encourages to use the school’s price of attendance calculator to better understand their personal tuition costs. Apartment-style housing is offered for students, which costs around $3,000 each year. Many students at JUFL may qualify for financial aid, which is generally provided as scholarships, grants, and loans.
Johnson University Florida is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
