The John Jay College of Criminal Justice is four-year, public, co-educational, liberal arts college within the City University of New York system of higher education institutions. Currently, the only liberal arts college in the United States that focuses on criminal justice, specifically forensic psychology and forensic science.
The college is fully accredited by the Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools.

With just over 16,000 students and 860 faculty, the college is one of CUNY’s largest member institutions and one of the largest four-year colleges in Manhattan. Programs offered at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice can be completed on-campus, online or a combination both–although more and more students are taking advantage of the college’s online degree programs.
