Earning a bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT) project management is a great way to begin down the path of eventually obtaining a management position with an organizations’ IT division. IT managers supervising projects are responsible for making sure solutions are developed that can solve data and information related problems an organization may be struggling with. IT managers are often assigned to solve data problems for multiple divisions within an organization. Many IT project managers are responsible for supervising employees within the IT department.

In fact, by 2018, it has been projected that jobs for 300,000 new IT managers will be created.
