Hendrix College, located in Conway, Arkansas, is a private liberal arts college that is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Notwithstanding its relationship with the Methodist Church, Hendrix College readily accepts students from diverse religious backgrounds. In fact, the student body at Hendrix is made up of students from a large variety of religions. Hendrix offers a secular curriculum.
Currently, the student body at Hendrix is roughly 1400 and represents forty-three states and at least fourteen countries. In 2008, Hendrix ranked 71st in the nation in the US News and World Report’s America’s Best Colleges. Forbes ranked Hendrix as 81st in the nation for America’s Best Colleges in 2009. In 2011, US News and World Report’s America’s Best Colleges ranked Hendrix as one of highest “up and coming” liberal arts colleges in the United States.
Hendrix is a member of the Associated Colleges of the South.
