School Overview
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) has its main campus in Lubbock but there are also campuses in Amarillo, Abilene, El Paso, Dallas, and the Permian Basin in Texas. It provides programs in Biomedical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Nursing, Medicine, and Pharmacy. TTUHSC is a separate, equal university in the Texas Tech University System.
In addition to its research and teaching activities, it also provides medical help to over 100 countries and all the Texas Department of Corrections facilities (in the western part of Texas.)
