Very few golfers ever get the opportunity to play professionally, but career opportunities are available in the golf industry. The Golf Academy of America provides career training programs for individuals interested in golf course management and other careers.

The Golf Academy of America recently opened a campus in the Phoenix area. The school consists of world-class facilities, PGA professional instructors, and excellent golf courses that are open year round.

The Phoenix school currently offers an associate’s program in Golf Complex Operations and Management. Students enrolled in the program improve communication skills, learn about business management, and improve their golf skills by working closely with PGA professionals.

It takes 16 months to complete the program. An online bachelor’s program in Golf Course Management offered by Virginia College, a partner of the Golf Academy of America, is available for graduates of the associate’s program.

Applicants only need to submit proof a high school or general equivalency degree and pay a fee to be admitted to the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix.
