Gadsden State Community College (GSCC) with locations in Gadsden, Centre, and Anniston, Alabama is an open-door two-year college that serves the cities of Etowah, Cleburne, St. Clair, Cherokee, and Calhoun. Gadsden State Community College has four campuses: Ayers, Valley Street, East Broad, and Wallace Drive. It also has two learning centers: McClellan Center and the Gadsden State Cherokee Center.
The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and has a total annual enrollment of roughly 8,000 students.
Gadsden State Community College competes athletically in the Alabama Community College Conference as the Cardinals. Competitive sports teams include men’s and women’s volleyball, cross country, softball, and basketball and men’s tennis.
