School Overview

Everglades University offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs that help prepare students to progress in their current or future careers. Everglades is a regionally accredited not-for-profit, private university. With roughly 1,500 students, Everglades University combines innovative degree programs, small class sizes, and convenient course scheduling to accommodate working students and adult students. Everglade’s unique program allows students to take one class at a time, and each class is taken and completed in just one month. Graduate students are able to take two classes at a time within an eight week time period. This focused approach enables students to concentrate on one subject for short periods, which enhances their retention of that topic as well as enhances their overall learning experience. Everglade University’s small class sizes allow for greater individual attention and more interaction between students and faculty.

Everglades University was founded in 1990 as American Flyers College and eight years later was purchased by Keiser University. In 2011, Keiser University was purchased by Everglades College Inc. who converted American Flyers College into the present day Everglades University.
