School Overview
Emmaus Bible College is located on the Mississippi River in Dubuque, Iowa, right between Chicago and Des Moines. The school is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges, and integrates the teachings of the Bible (specifically the New Testament) with its general and vocational studies programs. Through its Correspondence School division, Emmaus also offers courses in 125 languages in over 105 countries. The college has a sister school, Emmaus Bible College based in Australia.
There are around 300 full- and part-time students enrolled at Emmaus Bible College. The school is affiliated with the Plymouth Brethren, a non-denominational society of similar evangelical churches. About half of the students at Emmaus belong to the Plymouth Brethren, with the other half coming from various evangelical backgrounds. Along with associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, Emmaus offers certificates in ministerial and Biblical fields.
Emmaus offers men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball at the intercollegiate level.
