California State University, East Bay (CSU East Bay or Cal State East Bay) is located in San Francisco’s eastern section. It is a public university and member of the California State University System. Cal State East Bay offers more than 130 bachelor’s and 50 master’s degree programs. The school also offers an Ed.D program. Leading nationally publications have designated Cal State East Bay as one of the premier public universities in the Western United States.
