This program is designed to prepare students, under the supervision of dentists, to design and construct dental prostheses such as caps, bridges, crowns, splints, dentures, and orthodontic appliances. This program frequently includes in depth instruction in dental anatomy, bonding and assembly techniques, ceramics technology, dental materials, impressions, partial dentures, complete dentures, orthodontics, sculpture, crowns and bridges, and equipment operation.
