Wesley College, located in the state capital of Dover, Delaware, is a coeducation, privately owned and operated, four-year liberal arts college. The college was established as Wilmington Conference academy, a college prep school, in 1873. In 1918 it was converted into a two-year degree granting college and adopted a new name, Wesley Collegiate Institute. In 1978, the college began awarding four-year bachelor’s degrees.
