While Daphne is the largest city in the county of Baldwin, with just over 21,500 residents it’s still one of the smaller cities in the state of Alabama. It does however belong to the Daphne-Fairhope-Foley metro area wich has a slightly larger population of 180,000.

It is also home to the United States Sports Academy, a independent, residential and online sports academy, and a graduate school for Huntingdon College, a coeducational liberal arts college, based in Montgomery.

The United States Sports Academy is a fully accredited higher education institution that provides a large variety of professional training and degree programs in sports. The academy offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees as well a few professional certificates. Daphne is also the home of the American Sports Art Meseum and Archives (ASAMA) which resides on the campus of the United States Sports Academy.

While Huntingdon College’s main campus is located in Montegomery, Alabama, the school has a comprehensive graduate school located in Daphne that offers various graduate-level business and professional programs.
