Dana College

College Degree Finder

Dana College was a four-year college located in Blair Nebraska up until July of 2010 when the school shut its doors. The college lost its accreditation and shortly after its financial backing and went defunct. It was originally founded in 1884 by members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.

Due to the unexpected closure of Dana College, its sister college, Midland University, agreed to provide all current Dana College students free room and board at its main campus in Fremont, transfer all their credits to Midland University, and match the financial aid package they received from Dana prior to its closure. Two other universities, Concordia University-Nebraska and Kentucky Christian University also step up and offered Dana’s students the opportunity to transfer their credits to either institution.
