Dallas Baptist University, previously known as the Dallas Liberal Arts University, is a Christian liberal arts university located in Dallas Texas. Just 15 miles southwest of downtown Dallas, overlooking Mountain Creek Lake is the school’s main campus. Dallas Baptist University was founded in 1898 in Dallas as Decatur Baptist College and today also owns and operates campuses in Plano, Hearst, and Mansfield, Texas.
