Just 15 miles southwest of downtown Dallas, overlooking Mountain Creek Lake is the school’s main campus. Dallas Baptist University was founded in 1898 in Dallas as Decatur Baptist College and today also owns and operates campuses in Plano, Hearst, and Mansfield, Texas.
