The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences (CRAS) provides job training for those pursuing careers in audio production and editing. Campuses are located in Tempe and Gilbert, AZ.

Graduates find jobs in video game audio production, movie sound production and editing, and music recording. Many graduates find jobs with studios that edit audio for world-famous musicians.

CRAS’s Master Recording program takes less than a year to complete. Students spend 15 weeks each at both campuses and complete a 12 week internship at a studio.

Each admitted student is provided with all required textbooks, access to online study materials, microphones, headphones, and a Mac computer.

Those interested in attending CRAS must apply online. Federal Pell grants and loans and private loans are available to qualifying students.

Students who study at CRAS develop the skills necessary to find entry-level jobs in the sound engineering and audio recording industries.
