Of all the colleges in Connecticut, Yale University, located in New Haven, is the most well-known educational institutions with an international reputation that rivals that of Harvard and Princeton. One notable public university in Connecticut, Storrs, has been on the U.S. News and World Report top-ranked public university in New England for over nine years. Other top public colleges include Southern Connecticut State University, University of Harford and Central Connecticut State University, all of which offer a large selection of degree programs and education options.
