School Overview

Centralia College, located in Centralia, Washington is a four-year higher education institution. Up until 2012, it was a two-year community college, known as Centralia Community College. Today, Centralia College offers a comprehensive selection of two-year academic and career-oriented associate degrees as well as a few four-year bachelors degree, including the Bachelor of Applied Science in Management (BASM).

Centralia College was founded as Centralia Community College and is the oldest community college in the state. It has always been in operation since the day it opened its doors in 1925. While there are a few other colleges that were built before Centralia, none of them have been in continual operation since they were founded. Centralia College has a 30-acre campus that is situated in downtown Centralia. In addition to its main campus, the college has a branch campus in the city of Morton. Once accepted at Centralia, students have the opportunity to take advantage of one of several distance learning courses that can be completed online or correspondence.

Centralia serves the career training and higher education needs of residents living in and around Lewis and Thurston Counties. Centralia is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and University of the Higher Learning Commission. The college offers over 65 academic and vocational programs and has a total annual enrollment of roughly 4,900 students.
