Central Alabama Community College, locally referred to as CACC, in Alexander City, Alabama, is a two-year college that has a total annual enrollment of roughly 2,000 students. The school has three campuses: Childersburg, Talladega Center, and Alexander City. Since 1969, CACC has continuously been accredited by the Higher Education Commission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

CACC was founded in 1965 as the Alexander City State Junior College under Alabama State Legislature Act 93 in the Russell Hospital. The school moved to its current location and was combined with Nunnelley State Technical College in 1989 to form Central Alabama Community College.

CACC athletic teams compete in the Alabama Community College Conference. The school offers men’s and women’s sports in volleyball, softball, baseball, golf, tennis and few other athletic fields.
